Torrens Spring Fling 19th September

Adrian Sheppard is her husband, Trevor Jacobs I think is her brother in law.
On Sunday September 19th my Hartley team will be organising the Torrens Spring Fling to raise funds for local charity Hartley Lifecare (see www.hartley.org.au). Activities include a sausage sizzle, second hand book stall, cake stall, face painting and hair cutting (one of our team members is a hairdresser, and she and some of her colleagues are volunteering their time). And we're organising a 5km fun run, on the fire trail around the back of Torrens. It'll be slightly undulating, but we're not going over the top of Mt Taylor.Registration at the Torrens Shops from 8:30 to 9:15, the start is at 9:30 500m up the hill from the shops towards Mt Taylor at the back of the suburb. (I'll send out a course map once we've settled on the course.)Cost: $5 for straight entry, or $8 for entry and one raffle ticket. The raffle ticket normally costs $5, and the raffle prize is a Bianchi 928 Carbon Mono Q Tech Bike valued at $6300.00.Prizes: we hope to have a few smallish prizes for the winners.Cheers,VelkroPS Davo, Fluoro, Ads and Peta, Andrew Johnson and Andrew Kingston are part of the team.PPS If you have any second hand books you'd like to donate to the cause, please let me know.
