The evolution of Veterans Athletics
I received this book in the mail late this week.
It is by Jack Pennington and can be purchased from Jack at 24 Alberga St Kaleen.
It carries a foreword by Ray Green, which I am particularly impressed by.
I have not yet read this book, but am very impressed, as I was kept informed of the saga behind the scenes.
Jack had a friend who was preparing the book, who died mid preparation, then his friend's wife took over the preparation, and she also had troubles in the preparation.
More later, after I have had a read of the finished book.
I believe Jack has forwarded a copy of his book to each of the Veterans Club's state secretaries.
The Australian Masters Athletics also has a copy.
