BBQ Stakes 17th March 2010
We had a slightly lower number of runners today, possibly due to the Six Foot Track race and the Weston Creek Half Marathon last weekend, and the Vets Championships looming.
However a good field of 45 or so were there, including two of the six foot runners.
Damian McCauley came in 1 st, with 3 wins from 53 runs, 2nd was Terry Levings with an inprovement from 13 th place the week before, and 3rd place was Geoff King.
Caroline Campbell wore a green T-Shirt to signify St Patricks Day, and had a sprint finish for first place. However she was not eligible, so was not the winner on the day.
Stories were told of the six foot track event, and there is lots of news about that event on Cool Running Website.
