 On a very hot and windy day there was a good field of 19 hardy/crazy runners turn up, including Scott Imhoff and Peter James – welcome to both.  Well done to all who braved the conditions. 

Also, welcome back to handicapper Simon who will be closely scrutinising performances to set up handicap times for a new point score competition to start on Friday 1 February.

Because of the heat and conditions, runners were able to leave when they wished.  The results therefore show some elapsed times and some finish times, these in turn depending on start times.  There were lucky draws for Runners Shop vouchers and socks after the run.

Next CJ’s run will be Friday 25 January 2013.  This is a Friday before a long weekend but we will have the run as normal.  Again, there will be no prizes or points based on finishing position for this run as it will not be properly handicapped.  Instead, we’ll have lucky draws.  Usual charge of $1 will apply.
