Brenden Boyd had his first win at the BBQ Stakes. His P.B. was 23:28 on 11 th Sept 2013.
Second place went to Peter Foster, convenor of the Lake Tuggeranong Stakes and long distance runner, who wears a very distinctive Blue coloured, rimmed hat. 3 rd place was taken out by Roger Palazzo, a very good runner, who is a fairly regular participant.
Health took out the Teams trophy, with Tony Wynd filling the third place for the team of Health.
Adrian Plunkett reported he has reached 30 years service with IP Australia. And he is counting down the few years before his retirement. He is now regularly running the course. He has a block of land in Wright and has posted a photo on facebook of his new driveway.
Dan Buckley has been penalised by the handicapper for his win last week, a substantial rehandicap, of over 1 minute 39 seconds,
Terry Levings now plays golf on Wednesdays, and Bruce Wight who had a few games with Terry, has travelled to the Arctic, for a fantastic holiday. He has now retired from his work so can travel.
