Lake Tuggeraning Stakes 19th October 2010

One new runner today, the first time he has run 6 km, was accompanied all the way by a friend, with whom he has been training and he was chuffed.

Garry Lee, today's winner, ran his 153 rd event.

Garry is also a regular at the Vets Handicaps and has been a runner at the BBQ Stakes over many years.

Tony Rogers, who has many runs at the BBQ Stakes, also ran. Tony is in trainoing for a triathlon next year, and his training/running program is advised by his coach.

Peter Thompson, the organiser was detained by a work meeting, but arrived at presentation time to make the necessary announcements, about the winner, etc..
