Stone Motherless last at Oakey Hill

Stranglehold on last place in the Waddell Series at Oakey Hill.

Came in stone motherless last in the Waddell Series at Oakey Hill this month.

Was a sure thing after visiting the Portaloo, a few minutes before the start time, and waiting in the queue.

Surprisingly, some sort of a record, as I missed my start group twice last year due to a visit to the Portaloo, just before the start.

Nevertheless, it was a lovely day to be out and about.

Then it started me thinking, could I create some record, in coming last in the Waddell series, over a number of events; that could not be surpassed by others, it may be interesting to see what happens in future handicaps. Mt Ainslie, is a longer course, and who knows, what the weather will throw down.Reminds me of the keeping of results in the BBQ Stakes weekly event, where they can tell a person, how long it has been since their last win.

Martin Dent won the 10k in 30:10, next was someone from Sydney in 33:50 ish, then Des Proctor a couple more minutes back.

Joy Terry was only a few seconds behind Des for 4th overall.

Philo Saunders and Sarah McRae won the 5k in 14:53 and 17:30 ish.

Daniel Green was 2nd about 20sec behind Philo and Brett Robinson was 3rd.
Hannah Flanery was 2nd.
