A Sunday Adventure

It began from the cycle path at the northern end of the Gungahlin Lakes Club Carpark.
Then travel was north west along the path next to Gungahlin Drive, past Lexcen Avenue/Amagula Avenue intersection, to a pedestrian underpass, through that to turn left and find Hill reserve about 200 metres along the path. Progress was then up and over Hill reserve, over Marangul Avenue, along another bit of Hill Reserve, and up to Gurrang Avenue, along to an underpass at Mirrabel drive, through and under and around the other side of Mirrabel Drive, and then basically returning over Hill Reserve to Gungahlin Drive and the Gungahlin Lakes Carpark.

The view from the top of Hill Reserve was Panoramic, and a purple and yellow painted bench was provided, which I didn't use.
The path was concrete and S bended its way up and down the hill, altogether providing a good workout, in an area where I hadn't run before.

Looking at the map now, I could have made a loop run along Mirrabel Drive, then around Yerrabi Pond, and back down Gundaroo Road to the Golf Course Carpark.

Until Next Time.

I believe now that "Ngunnawal Hill Reserve" is actually "Aki's Hill", where she does 6 repeats.

Her exploits are expounded at:-

She runs to the hill, does the repeats and then runs home.

This is Aki's hill in its finest form, you took on the hard side first, go Friar! That seat used to be yellow, but one day I got up there and found it was half spraypainted purple, and some one had left an abandoned spray can there. Actually a bit of graffiti that's not too bad. If you ever see a water bottle on top of it, it's probably an indication I'm around somewhere. :)
