Well 31 crazy runners turned out today,  temperature was very hot so no race was declared and Adrian had picked number 11 this morning as the winner and that was Andrew Guild.

For all those that were there John ** is now home and doing fine but not allowed to participate on hot days again 😊

That is John Busteed, who took a "turn" near Lyons shops, and Marc Wilson provided him with a lift back to the finish area.  Ambulance people were called and provided appropriate treatment.

BBQ Stakes 22 nd January 2014

Ben Reay was awarded his 100 run T Shirt today.
His family of wife and child were there on this occasion.

There were 53 runners today;  with every one finishing their holidays, they are now getting back for their regular weekly BBQ Stakes run, every Wednesday at the BBQ Pit across from the Woden library under Melrose drive.

Today, it was Roger Pilkington doing the timing after having good results in recent events.


Rad reports that his Xmas relay times are as follows:-
2010, 18:30
2011, 19:01,
2012, 19:08,
2013, 20:00.

and concludes that he is getting slower, he runs the first leg, Roger Pilkington runs the second leg.
