Kerrie Tanner, Andrew Guild, and Roxie welcomed back today.

Kerrie Tanner, Andrew Guild, and Roxie were back to run in the stakes today.

62 other keen runners were there also, and Caroline Campbell did the time keeping duties and allowed Judy Kuleas to have a run even though she was willing to do the time keeping.

Caroline is saving herself for a duathlon this coming weekend,

It would have meant going back to retrieve some warmer clothing than she wore to the start.

Roxie also had a run, brought by Andrew, and returned home by Andrew for she made herself dirty by running in the mud.

There was little to find nut she found it.

Julie Quinn made a farewell speech for she is to work in Civic from now on. So she will probably join the Customs Joggers Group.

I shouldn't mention Alex ran last today, but he says he needs to work on his fitness.

Steven Murphy was the winner, his 11 th win at 50:17 across the line, his second win and 94th run, his P.B. is 26:59 on 7th September 2011.

Second was Dale and third was Karl.

Lloyd Donnelly had a successful fund raising event this week, and raised funds for his charity partners.

BBQ Stakes 31 st July 2013

31 st July 2013.

There was a bit of confusion at the start of today's run. The race started with no clock or handicap sheets. But it all ended well after Andrew Blyton made a mercy dash to find the gear. Laura Toyne came home first, with Judy Kuleas second and Dwayne Currie was third.

Rodd Rundle now leads the 2013  points score with Bruce Wight a close second.

Rodd was today's timekeeper and probably has won twice this year.

Rad Leovic is now 12 years since his P.B.
Hugh Moore is now 19 years since his P.B.

It was stated that Bob Harlow has a heart condition, no further information was provided.

Bob is a prolific marathon and long distance runner, a triathlete and a determined cyclist.
