Why Me ??

Hacked again.

All of my inbox e-mail messages have disappeared.

I have a new password now, so hopefully this is unlikely to happen again soon.

Also, my e-mail contacts list hasl disappeared.

Luckily some of the above matters are in my saved files, but it will require a major rebuild, and considerable typing to restore what I want.

One good thing about this, is that old inbox messages were deleted.

And thankfully, the computer is still working.  I am still able to browse the internet.

This latest incident, has given me a wake up call, and made me think through what I actually really need to do on this computer.

Thankfully, I got some help yesterday, and I can still receive messages.

Fingers crossed that no more strikes will occur.

Daniel Buckley had a huge smile on his face today as he finished his 200 th run in the BBQ Stakes.

Richard Juckes came in second with Stephen Murphy third.

Daniel's  over the line time was 49:57, well done Daniel, and we were told he had a run at Lake Tuggeranong the previous day, with a field of 18 runners, probably drawn by Daniel's Charisma.

Lloyd Edwards ran the stakes today, and his wounds received at the Lakes Stakes event a few weeks previously, are healing well. He was not very fast today.

A visitor to the run today was Peter Foster who  manages the Lakes Stakes.

Rad Leovic was 47 th finisher today, in a net time of 47:04, still nursing his partner at home.

Rad still managing to attend the Customs Joggers last week, and the BBQ Stakes today.  It may be the end of the month before they get to see the specialist for an up to date consultation.  And Rad's partner still wears a moon boot to help her healing bones.

Terry Levings'win last week was his 33 rd and some 13 months since his previous win.

Gary Bowen ran 30:40 today, on his second time around the course.

She has been accompanied by her pet dog and  child in a pram for the last several weeks. Maria Donohue also said she is getting fitter, but will work on improving.
Jim White was 45:09 today, not limping as much as last week.

A clean start

Harvey Norman delivered and installed our new washing machine today.

Just as well the weather is fine, because I'm not sure how to dry the wash in the machine.  The sun is out however, so by tomorrow evening we should have caught up with our washing backlog.

It was a bit frustrating, having to wait for over two weeks, nearly three weeks, because when we went out to Harvey Norman, they had several rows of washing machines on the floor.
Surprisingly there were a huge number of people in the Fyshwick store even on a Friday morning around 9 am to 10 am.

In fact, they were rearranging the display. Anyway we only have to fill in the guarantee, send it away,
and have several years of trouble free service from our new machine.

The ones we saw on the Harvey Norman floor covered a huge range, a bigger range than David Jones in Woden.

Have done a couple of washes now, and everything has gone well, so we will have a clean start in the next couple of days, still a couple of washes to carry out before the rain comes again, it is forecast for the weekend, hopefully only light showers.

The previous machine we had was an Ariston, of which Harvey Norman had several models, the drive bely came off twice during its ten years with us, and now the powerboard had burned itself out, so for that ten years, to only have two or three service calls, would seem like an impressive performance.

So we look forward to at least ten years with the new machine, at least, without any problems.

BBQ Stakes 10 th July 2013

Absent today was Lloyd Edwards, he had a bad fall at Lake Tuggeranong recently, and has missed two BBQ Stakes events.

I believe he lost some skin and suffered some grazing.

Hope he returns soon.

Rodd Rundle had a 2 second personal best today.

Roger Palazzo has been losing weight by participating in the BBQ Stakes on a regular basis, aiming for a further weight loss.  Keep going Roger.

Results today were, -- Terry Levings first, Dan Buckley second and Richard Juckes third.

Dan Buckley has 199 runs to his credit, Ben Reay has 91, and Simon Heinicke was also mentioned but I did not hear his run total.

Judy Kuleas again ran off her handicap, and finished 14 th across the line her time was 49:12 net.

Fastest last week were Julie Quinn and Paul Smith. Lloyd Donnelly was 51 st place today, almost back of the field, Karl was 48 th, Jim White ran 45:52 today net time. I there were 52 runners today.  The weather was slightly warmer with the sun breaking through towards 1:00 PM.

Garry Bowen again ran the course twice, which he has been doing for the last several weeks.

Rad Leovic finished at 52:32 today across the line, not sure what his start time was.
